Faulkner County Jail Mugshots Overview
The official adult roster for the Faulkner County Detention Center displays booking photos on public list entries and on profile pages when the image is available. The roster is run by the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office under Sheriff Tim Ryals, and it covers adult detainees booked into the county detention center system. The source base is the sheriff roster, the sheriff jail page, the county FOIA channels, and Arkansas public-record law. The current roster is the first place to look when the person may still be in county custody.
FCSO says Unit Two/Booking initiates the booking computer record for people brought in under arrest or committed by a Faulkner County court. During identification, staff take fingerprints and photo images of detainees booked at Unit Two and keep those records. That local fact matters because the public photo is not a court mugshot, a state prison image, or a federal booking photo. It is part of the county jail intake record.
Booking photos also appeared during inspection on the 48-hour release roster. That release view is limited to persons released from FCDC within the prior 48 hours. No separate official daily mugshot gallery or booking-photo PDF was found. The sheriff Most Wanted page has a search framework, but no active wanted-photo content was available during inspection, so it should not be treated as an active mugshot source.

Find Faulkner County Booking Photos
Faulkner County booking photos should be searched through the official adult roster before any other source. The roster disclaimer page sends users to current inmates or to the 48-hour release list. A name search can use either a first or last name. If the person is newly booked, sorting by booking time and checking the most recent entries may be faster than searching a common name. If a photo is missing, the profile can still be useful because it may give the booking number and arresting agency needed for a FOIA request.

- Use the released option when the person may have left FCDC within the last 48 hours.
- Search by first name or last name, or sort by newest bookings if the arrest was recent.
- Open View Profile to see the larger booking photo, VINELink button, booking number, arresting agency, charges, and bond.
- If the profile is gone, submit a records request with the full name, booking number if known, arrest date, and arresting agency.

Faulkner County Mugshot Record Fields
The sample FCSO profile inspected on May 29, 2026 showed a single frontal booking image and a set of booking fields. The same sample profile did not show height, weight, date of birth, housing unit, court date, warrant number, judge, projected release date, or a separate statute code. The jail page says booking staff may provide court date and towing-company information by phone, but those fields were not visible on the public sample profile.

The profile view is the better source when a reader needs the booking number or arresting agency before requesting a photo that is no longer visible.
Are Faulkner County Mugshots Public?
Adult Faulkner County jail mugshots are publicly visible when FCSO publishes them on the current roster or 48-hour release roster. Arkansas FOIA also gives Arkansas citizens a route to inspect and copy public records unless an exemption applies. That does not mean every image stays online forever, and it does not mean a public adult jail roster works for juvenile detention, sealed records, or federal custody. The local public source is the sheriff roster, backed by the county's FOIA process when the public page does not show the record.

Arkansas Code section 4-75-102 is often confused with official jail access. It regulates commercial sites that publish criminal-record information and demand payment or other consideration to remove, correct, or modify a booking photograph. It does not say the official sheriff roster must remove every public jail photo on demand.
How Long Mugshots Stay Public
The current roster shows booking photos while the adult entry remains current. The release roster is labeled as a 48-hour release view, and the roster disclaimer says it lists people released from FCDC within the last 48 hours. FCSO also says it keeps and maintains photo images taken during booking, but the public roster is not a full historical mugshot archive. Older booking photos should be requested through FOIA or county records-request channels, subject to Arkansas law and any exemption.
What is and isn't public: Adult current and 48-hour release roster photos may be visible online. Juvenile photos, sealed records, investigative material, and federal or immigration custody images are not handled like adult FCSO roster mugshots.
Juvenile detention deserves special care. The Faulkner County Juvenile Detention Center is a local FCSO-operated facility, but juvenile identities and photos are not presented like adult roster records. The adult roster should not be used or described as a juvenile mugshot lookup.
Request Faulkner County Booking Photos
If the photo is not online, use the sheriff FOIA page, the county NextRequest portal, or the county records-request form. The FCSO FOIA page points requesters to the Faulkner County NextRequest portal. The county records page also lists online, phone, fax, in-person, and mail channels. A good request identifies the person by full name, booking number if known, arrest date, arresting agency, and the specific record wanted, such as the booking photo or booking record.

Faulkner County Mugshot Removal
The sheriff jail page did not publish a simple official mugshot-removal policy for adult roster photos. If the issue is a court case that was dismissed, sealed, or otherwise cleared, the record-clearing route is through the court and Arkansas sealing process, not through a private payment demand. Arkansas ACIC materials say approved sealing orders are forwarded by the clerk to ACIC, and ACIC has 30 days from receipt to complete an order to seal. Court records, jail records, and commercial reposts may move on different timelines.
For unofficial publish-for-pay sites, Arkansas Code section 4-75-102 gives a specific removal path. A person may request removal by giving name, date of birth, arrest date, and arresting agency. The covered website must remove the booking photo within five business days and may not charge a fee. That law targets commercial republishing practices. It does not replace the official FCSO roster, the county FOIA process, or a court sealing order.
State and Federal Booking Photos
The Arkansas Department of Corrections locator is separate from the Faulkner County roster. It can show state custody information after a person is sentenced to ADC custody, held as an ADC inmate in county-jail backup, or listed under Act 309 or work classifications. The DOC locator may show a state profile image, but that is not the same as an FCSO booking mugshot from Unit Two.
Federal and immigration systems are different again. No BOP prison or ICE detention facility was found in Faulkner County. The BOP inmate locator is for sentenced federal prisoners and certain former federal prisoners, and it does not work like a county mugshot gallery. The ICE Online Detainee Locator System searches immigration detention by A-Number and country or by biographical details. It is a custody locator, not a public mugshot page.
Note: If a person leaves FCDC for state, federal, or immigration custody, the county roster photo may disappear while another locator gives only custody status.
