Faulkner County Jail Roster

The official Faulkner County inmate roster is hosted by the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office. The public entry point is the inmate roster disclaimer, where a user chooses either Current Inmates or 48 Hour Release. The current roster is free to use and no login was observed in the research. It is the main public channel for adult detainees in the Faulkner County Detention Center, including Unit One and Unit Two/Booking. It is not a juvenile roster and should not be used as one.

The roster changes as bookings and releases are processed. Research found live counts that shifted during inspection, which is normal for a working jail feed. Current entries showed booking photos, names, booking numbers, ages, booking dates, charges, bond fields, and profile links. The release view showed recent releases with release date and booking date. The sheriff's disclaimer says roster data is drawn from public sources and supplied for convenience. It also says the sheriff and detention center cannot certify the accuracy or authenticity of every item, so bond, charges, and case numbers should be confirmed with detention staff before anyone posts bail or acts on a record.

The roster does not replace every other Faulkner County inmate records channel. A sentenced state prisoner may appear in the Arkansas Department of Corrections inmate search. A federal sentence points to the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator. Immigration detention is searched through ICE ODLS. Victim and custody alerts are handled through VINELink, which is linked from individual FCSO profiles.

Use Faulkner County Inmate Search

The Faulkner County jail roster works best when the search starts with a name and then moves to the profile. The visible roster controls include Current, Released, Name, Date, sort links, Search By Name, Search, Show All, pagination, and View Profile. The name box accepts either a first or last name. If the person was just arrested in Conway, Greenbrier, Vilonia, Mayflower, Guy, or another Faulkner County community, sort by newest booking date and check the first roster pages before assuming no record exists.

1. Open the FCSO roster disclaimer and choose Current Inmates if the person may still be in custody.
2. Choose 48 Hour Release if the person may have left the Faulkner County Detention Center recently.
3. Enter either a first name or a last name in Search By Name. Use Show All to return to the full roster.
4. Use Date, Sort Newest to Oldest, or pagination when the booking date is known or the arrest is recent.
5. Open View Profile for the booking number, arresting agency, booking date, listed charges, bond field, mugshot, and VINELink button.
6. Call Detention Center staff at 501-450-4914 when bond, charges, case numbers, or release eligibility must be current.
7. Move to FOIA, Arkansas DOC, BOP, ICE, or court search if the person is not in current county custody.

The image shows why a profile check matters: the list gives a quick record view, but the profile and jail phone line are the better path for bond and case-number confirmation.

Faulkner County Roster Fields

The sheriff roster is not a database with every possible jail field exposed to the public. It is a working roster with filters, sorting links, a name search, profile links, and separate current and release views. That makes it useful for a fast Faulkner County inmate records check, but it also means some details, such as housing unit, court date, judge, warrant number, and projected release date, may require a phone call, court search, or public-records request.

Faulkner County Inmate Profile

A Faulkner County inmate profile is a booking record summary, not a full criminal-history report. The sample public profile inspected by the research showed a mugshot, a VINELink button, booking number, age, gender, race, arresting agency, booking date, charges, and bond. The profile warning is important. Charges and bail amounts can change after court appearances and may not be current. Bond companies and people who want to post bail are told to contact detention staff for accurate bail amount, charges, and case numbers.

The sample profile did not show height, weight, date of birth, housing unit, court date, warrant number, judge, projected release date, statute number, or a per-charge bond breakdown. Booking staff may provide some public items by phone, including name, charges, bond amount, arresting agency, court date, and towing company if a vehicle was towed.

Faulkner County Jail Facilities

Faulkner County adult detention is split between Unit One and Unit Two/Booking. Unit One is the maximum-security county jail building. Unit Two is the intake and booking building and also houses adult men and women. The juvenile detention center is operated separately from the adult public roster. Juvenile names and photographs should not be expected in the adult Faulkner County inmate records search.

Faulkner County Booking Records

Booking occurs at Unit Two for people brought to the Faulkner County Detention Center under arrest or committed by a Faulkner County court. FCSO says booking staff initiate the booking computer record, take fingerprints and photo images, keep the identification records, conduct classification, complete suicide-prevention screening, review medical and mental-health referrals, secure property, and move the detainee toward housing. This is why the public roster is tied to jail intake rather than directly to the court case file.

The jail page does not publish a fixed roster refresh schedule or a guarantee that every new arrest appears within a set number of minutes. A new booking may not be easy to find until staff complete enough intake work for a public record to appear. If the person is still in booking, video visitation is not available. FCSO says video visits can only be made once the detainee has been released from Booking and placed in general population.

Classification

The assessment used for supervision, housing, safety screening, and medical or mental-health referral.

Detainer

A hold from another agency or jurisdiction that may affect release even when a bond field appears.

Booking charge

A charge listed at intake, which may differ from the formal court charge later filed.

Faulkner County Visitation Rules

Faulkner County uses video visitation tied to Unit Two and JailATM. The official jail page says Unit Two has updated to video visitation only, except attorney conferences and visits approved by the Jail Administrator. Participation is a privilege. Visits may be denied, cancelled, terminated, or restricted based on conduct. The jail also bars recording or photographing video visits. Clothing and conduct rules matter because nudity or tight-fitting, provocative clothing can suspend visit privileges indefinitely.

Note: Confirm current custody and general-population placement before paying for a video visit or scheduling family travel.

Faulkner County Mail and Funds

Mail and account rules are separate from the Faulkner County inmate search. Legal mail uses the 801 Locust St address. Other mail uses the Amity Road PMB address published by FCSO. Correspondence must include the detainee's first and last name and the correct address. FCDC no longer accepts outside-purchased reading material or Amazon book orders. Religious materials are provided by the Detention Chaplain on request, including Bible, Qur'an, Gita, Torah, Guru Granth Sahib, and Tripitaka.

Property release is also local to Faulkner County. A detainee must request a property release form, the named outside person must call for an appointment, and pickups occur Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Unit Two. Clothing generally cannot be released until sentencing because the detainee may need it if released.

Faulkner County Custody Channels

Faulkner County inmate records are split by custody system. The county roster is for current adult county jail custody and recent releases. Arkansas DOC is for state custody, ADC waiting-list statuses, Act 309/work classifications, and sentenced prison records. BOP is for federal sentenced prisoners and some people released from federal custody since 1982. ICE ODLS is for immigration detention. VINELink is a notification tool, not a replacement for the sheriff, court, DOC, BOP, or ICE source record.

The Faulkner County AR Sheriff app is another mobile access channel. The sheriff app page links to Google Play and the Apple App Store. The app advertises inmates, most wanted, sex offenders, press releases, alerts, FAQs, contact, and crime-tip features. Research did not confirm app-only roster fields, so it should be treated as a mobile route to sheriff information.

Faulkner County FOIA Records

When a roster entry is gone, incomplete, or too narrow, the public-records path matters. The sheriff has a FOIA page that routes requesters to Faulkner County NextRequest. The county also publishes a records request page with online, phone, fax, in-person, and mail options. Arkansas FOIA is not an anonymous national search system. The county form asks whether the requester is an Arkansas citizen, asks for proof such as a driver license, asks whether the requester is an incarcerated felon, and asks for enough detail to identify the requested record.

Arkansas Code section 25-19-105 generally opens public records to Arkansas citizens during regular business hours unless an exemption applies. It also allows requests by in-person, phone, mail, fax, email, or electronic means, and requires enough detail for the custodian to find the record. Undisclosed law-enforcement investigations may be exempt. A custodian is not required to create a new record just to answer a request. Fees generally may not exceed actual reproduction or transmission costs.
