Faulkner Unit Two Booking Overview
Faulkner County Detention Center Unit Two Booking is operated by the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office under Sheriff Tim Ryals. The official jail page identifies Unit Two as the booking and intake facility at 500 S German Ln in Conway. It also houses adult men and adult women. FCSO names Captain Doug Hunter as jail administrator and lists Unit Two email as Unit2@fcso.ar.gov.
Unit Two is the most important building for new arrests because the booking computer record starts there. FCSO says people are brought to Unit Two under arrest or committed by a Faulkner County court. Staff initiate the jail record, take fingerprints and photo images, complete classification and suicide-prevention screening, review medical and mental-health referrals, give entrance information, and secure property.
Because Unit Two creates the intake record, it is central to the public adult roster. The profile may show a mugshot, booking number, arresting agency, booking date, charges, bond, age, gender, race, and VINELink. It may not show a court date, a final case number, a judge, or a current housing unit. Call the jail for facts that affect bond or release.
Faulkner Unit Two Inmate Population
The sheriff jail page lists Unit Two capacity as 218 males and 88 females. The January 2026 monthly stats use a slightly different male figure: Unit 2 male capacity of 213 and female capacity of 88. The same January 2026 report lists average headcount of 147 males and 59 females, with highs of 153 males on January 2 and 65 females on January 5.
Those numbers are distinct from Unit One and juvenile detention. Unit Two is not only the booking desk. It also houses adult detainees after intake and classification. In 2024, Unit Two male monthly averages declined from early-year levels above 200 to 128 in October and 133 in December. Female monthly averages were near or above the 88-capacity mark early and midyear, including 89 in April and May, then fell to 67 in September and October.

Search Faulkner Unit Two Records
The FCSO adult roster is the correct online lookup for Unit Two bookings. A newly arrested person may not be ready for video visitation or general-population services until booking is complete and the person is placed. The roster should be treated as a public convenience record, not a certified court file. Charges and bail amounts can change after court appearances, and the public profile warning tells people who need correct bail amounts, charges, and case numbers to call Detention Center staff at 501-450-4914.
- Open the FCSO inmate roster disclaimer and choose current inmates.
- Search by first or last name, or sort by booking time when the arrest just happened.
- Open View Profile and copy the booking number, booking date, arresting agency, charges, and visible bond.
- Call 501-328-4160 or 501-450-4914 for current bond, court date, towing company, case number, or building confirmation.
For releases within 48 hours, use the released roster. For older booking photos or records, use FCSO FOIA, Faulkner County NextRequest, or the county FOIA form. For state prison custody after sentencing, use the Arkansas DOC locator instead of the county roster.
Faulkner Unit Two Address
Unit Two is the practical contact point for booking, intake, property pickup, account funding, and many new-arrest questions. Faulkner Unit Two Video Visits
FCSO states that Unit Two has updated to video visitation only, except attorney conferences and other visits approved by the Jail Administrator. A video visit can only be made once a detainee has been released from Booking and placed in general population. That rule is important for families checking on a new arrest. A person can be in the booking process but not yet eligible for a video visit.
| Visit Type | Schedule or Timing | Rule |
|---|---|---|
| Video visitation | After release from Booking to general population | JailATM is used for video calls and electronic messaging. |
| Attorney conferences | Not publicly scheduled | Exception to the video-only policy. |
| Approved visits | By Jail Administrator approval | Can be allowed outside the general video-only rule. |
Participation is a privilege. FCSO may deny, cancel, or terminate visits before or during a session based on conduct. Recordings and photographs of any kind are not allowed during visitation. Clothing and conduct rules apply to both visitor and detainee.
Faulkner Unit Two Mail and Funds
Unit Two is the in-person account funding location for FCDC detainee accounts. FCSO lists Correct Solutions for phone calls and account funding, AccessCorrections for commissary deposits, and JailATM for electronic messaging and video calls. The jail page does not publish a fee schedule for those vendors, so fees should be checked with the vendor before payment. Money sent for commissary or phone use is not the same as bond.
| Service | Provider or Location | Published Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Electronic messaging and video calls | JailATM | Not published on FCSO jail page |
| Commissary deposits | AccessCorrections | Not published on FCSO jail page |
| Phone calls and account funding | Correct Solutions or Unit Two | Not published on FCSO jail page |
| Property pickup | Unit Two by appointment | No fee listed for pickup |
Legal mail uses 801 Locust St, Conway, AR 72034. All other mail uses 500 Amity Rd Ste 5B, PMB 53, Conway, AR 72032. FCDC no longer accepts reading materials purchased outside the facility, and Amazon book orders are not allowed. Religious materials are provided by the Detention Chaplain on request.
Faulkner Unit Two Booking Intake
The Unit Two intake process begins when a person is brought in under arrest or committed by a Faulkner County court. Booking staff initiate the computer record, identify the detainee through fingerprints and photo images, and maintain those records. Classification includes an assessment and a suicide-prevention screening form. Medical and mental-health referrals can be recommended, and precautions can be started when needed to protect the detainee.
Property is also handled during booking. FCSO says property taken during booking is secured, stored, and tracked. Detainees can request a property release form. The outside person named on the form must call to make an appointment, and pickup occurs Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Unit Two. If the appointment is made on a property-release day, pickup happens on the next available release day.
Clothing rules are specific. Fully white clothing without logos or designs may be kept if the person arrives with it. Friends or family who bring in white clothing are turned away. Clothing generally cannot be released until the detainee is sentenced because it may be needed if the person is released.
About Faulkner Unit Two Custody
Unit Two is not a state prison, federal prison, or immigration detention facility. It is a county jail booking and adult housing unit. If a person is transferred to ADC custody, appears as an ADC inmate housed in county backup, or is listed under Act 309/work classifications, the Arkansas DOC locator becomes relevant. If a person is moved into federal or immigration custody, BOP or ICE systems may be needed. Start with FCSO when the person was booked locally.
The sheriff's app can support local access because FCSO advertises inmate, most-wanted, sex-offender, press-release, alert, FAQ, contact, and crime-tip features for the Faulkner County AR Sheriff app. The app does not replace the need to call Unit Two for fresh bond and release facts. Booking data can change after court action, transfer, or release processing.
Note: New arrestees may not be eligible for video visitation until booking ends and general-population placement occurs.
